Remove an animal from your list

1. Open the animal from Animals.
2. Open Packets, then find Remove animal.
3. Select Delete, then Confirm delete.

The animal leaves your list, and it no longer counts toward your plan’s animal limit. Its records aren’t destroyed: AnimalTrace keeps them, and the actions taken on them, for its audit history. There’s no button to bring an animal back, so contact us if you removed one by mistake.

To have an animal’s data deleted rather than taken off your list, ask for deletion.
