Who we are
This policy covers the AnimalTrace marketing website at animaltrace.ai. It does not cover the AnimalTrace product application, which is governed separately.
What we collect
- Contact form. When you submit the contact form we receive the name, email, organization, role, and message you provide, plus your consent indication.
- Analytics. If enabled, we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that records aggregate page-view data without identifying you or setting tracking cookies.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not run advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use contact-form data solely to respond to your request and, if relevant, to discuss a design partnership. We use aggregate analytics to understand which content is useful and improve the site.
Third-party processors
We rely on third parties to host the site, deliver form submissions (for example a form provider such as Netlify Forms or Formspree), and optionally provide cookieless analytics. Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms.
Cookies
This site aims to operate without tracking cookies. Any analytics, if enabled, is configured to be cookieless. We do not use a consent banner because we do not set non-essential cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data you submitted, or to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, email david.dewitt@protabyte.com.
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, then delete them.
